Crowd: 30,000 [official number]

The usual faces in the front could be seen some hours before the show started. And weatherwise it was a warm and beautiful day with plenty of "instant" sunshine, in a town which Suede played twice just three months ago (remember the two splendid nights on Train?). The die hard/hard core faces in the front row (the two finish girls (whose car broke down on the way to Aarhus!), Yuki from Japan (she is going to see all the shows!), Thomas, Danielle, Katja and Otsaku from Denmark and others) sadly had to listen to the danish "varm up act", danish crooner/singer/songwriter Lars HUG once again. It seems he already hates the folkes in the front. He knows they're waiting for Suede! But the more you hear the old crooner man, the better he actually gets. As in Odense yesterday, Suede came on stage a little late. Just one hour before the show they had to do some PR for Tuborg (the official sponsor). A few fans could take a picture with them self and Suede in the VIP area behind the main stage. The few "fans" mostly consisted of very young girls aged 10 or so. And of course some of the hard core fans!

The crowd of 30,000 (the official number, even though there must have been a least 40,000) couldn't wait any longer and when the beautiful Rachmaninov intro was heard they went wild. Brett was wearing sungglasses again, a new black t-shirt (event though it looked a bit out of colours), the usual Levi's jeans and CAT shoes. He jumped on the stage and the band started playing. First number was the lovely Love The Way You Love. It's getting better and better. A good opener. They then played Trash and the first rows of the crowd went completely wild. A dynamic show but nothing new really. But it's fair enough. One have to remeber that Suede are playing to the all kinds of people. People who might not be into Suede. People who only konws the chorus to Beautiful Ones.

Suede played for about an hour and 15 minutes. The encores included Attitutite. The song is kinda new Suede and the climaxis when Mat plays his solo. A stunning moment! After the show Suede could be seen, leaving the area in a black minibus headed for their hotel Radisson SAS Hotel I Scandinavian Congress Center. The place where they played shows in 1996 and 1999. The next day they went back to the UK, beacuse they had to do some recording stuff. They will return to the sunny Denmark and Blokhus on Thursday. Can't wait!!!
