Crowd: 20.000 [not official]

A new morning in a new town, another sunny day and yet another Suede gig. Could it be any better? No, of course not. Not at all. This time the Green Concert caravan stopped in the danish "Miami beach" - Blokhus. Blokhus is placed in the northern of Jutland, were there is "instant sunshine". Well - almost. Again Suede came on stage a littlte late. First "number" was the Rachmaninov intro and after that... wau...Golden Gun! What a beaty! The new Suede track was played live for the second time only and it's going to be a single according to Suede. I managed to talk with them in Aarhus the next day and they told me, that it was suposed to be the next single. A good single i must say! Besides that, notning new in the setlist even though Suede delivered a good Beautiful Loser.

Brett was wearing a new white t-shirt, the usual Levi's jeans and CAT shoes, and usual sunglasses. Just like the setlist - nothing new really. But it's fair enough. The crowd seemed not to bother. They just loved Suede 100%. Especially the girls at the front row.

At the front row the usual faces of the die hard fans could be seen. But a new face appeared - Monica from Rotterdam in Holland. So now we have three from Finland, two from Japan and one from Holland. Plus the five from Denmark. All hardcore Suede fans - travelling to every gig in the beautiful Denmark!

Suede delivered a very good show and the band played well. I would like to mention Mat and Richie. Simon and Alex did a good job too. At the end when the sunshine was almost gone, Brett was asking the audience (about 20,000 people) what day it was. And they responded - "Saturday". Both Brett and the audience were wrong. It was Thursday! But anyway, Brett jumped off stage and touched everybody at the front while walking and singing - "what ever makes her happy on a saturday night...". The security crew had a few problems with some wild elements in the audience trying to grab hold of Brett - but Brett managed to get loose (even though his t-shirt was almost ripped) and he fininished the song on the stage smiling. Suede left, the audience left and the die hard fans left -headed for Børkop between Vejle and Fredericia - for yet another new town, another sunny day and another Suede gig. Can't get enough!
