Crowd: 15.000 [not official]

A very hot day in danish town Naestved. Me and Thomas travelled to Zealand - the biggest island in Denmark - by train. A crowd of an estimated 15,000 gathered the area inside the fences. We wnet straight to the VIP area hoping to get some more information about Suede and meet the other die hard Suede fans. But nothing new.

The clock passed six and it was time for yet another Suede gig in Denmark. There were a lot of picnicers as in Esbjerg. Sadly enough. The Rachmaninov intro was played in the speakers and Suede came on stage. Brett was wearing the usual clothe and Simon was wearing sunglasses to.

First number was Love The Way You Love, second number was a great She. And what followed was a strongly Animal Nitrate. Nothing new. In some way there was a distant between Suede and the audience of drunk tanned picnicers. Brett had to shout something like: "You are all fuckers in the back". It was mainly the front row who rocked the place. Brett did his usual "acts" while singing Saturday Night.

After an hour and 10 minutes the band left the stage after two encores - Golden Gun and Saturday Night. I would like to mention Golden Gun. It must have been Suede best ever (the fourth time) performance of the song. It sounded just brilliant! Wait till you hear the single. Besides - Suede are gonna record it (i suppose) in Malmoe in Sweden on Monday (according to their manager Charlie).

After the show Suede left the village-like Holsted Nord and headed for Copenhagen in their black minibus. They will stay at the hotel near the train station (as always when in Copenhagen) - the Sofitel Hotel. It was rumoured among the die hard fans that Suede would join a party at the Nasa Nightclub and the Vega Lounge next day - after the final show. It was also rumoured that Suede would go to the famous amusement park Tivoli in central Copenhagen.
