The Essential Suede was started in December 1997, not only as a shrine to satisfy my Suede obsession, but also as my HTML practice object... I used to try out every single code I discovered on this site, until one day it became such a mess I just had to redesign the whole site properly. Has been redesigned several more times since.

Opened for public in December 5th, 1998, this site has been updated regularly until today... using Microsoft Notepad, IE, Access, Ulead PhotoImpact, CuteFTP;... also with the aid of Microsoft Outlook, Winamp, and F&N orange crush. :)

Moved to a far better [the best, in fact] server and its own domain in May 2002. The domain was opened for public in May 23rd, 2002.

Dedicated to SUEDE, who have changed my life greatly although they might not realize it....
