>> Last Head Music gig
Their last Head Music gig will be held at Cinerama in Tel Aviv (Israel) on January 27th 2000. After that they will head back into the studio to begin work on the follow up to Head Music.

Shows at Toulouse [Dec 17] and Nantes [Dec 18] are off, so their last gig for this year would be on Dec 15 at Madrid Riviera.

A Suede chat was held at docrock.de which was quite pleasing because it was not moderated (as usual 'chats' are) but the band only stayed for a very short time at the chatroom before they went to do soundcheck.

Brett made an appearance in MTV Europe Music Award 1999 at Dublin, presenting the 'Best Breakthrough Artist'. He read the nominees (and the winner, of course) with Des'ree. The lucky winner who got the chance to hug and cheek-kiss Brett was Britney Spears.

Can't Get Enough launch party was held in TRASH, at 1 Dean Street, London W1. Opens at 11.30pm until 3am. Suede Information Service members could get in for £3 (with SIS membership card), otherwise it's £4.

>> Bitter cancellations
The Vietnam show due today and the Malaysian show due in 2 days are cancelled, following the cancellation of their show in Jakarta :( While the Indonesian show was cancelled for security reasons, the shows in Vietnam and Malaysia are cancelled because Neil collapsed in Australia last week. He collapsed over exhaustion of doing about 40 gigs in a row around the world, and was adviced to get some rest. However UK shows should not be affected. Get well soon, Neil!

While Everything Will Flow is set for UK release as the next single on September 6th, our antipodean friends are going ahead with Can't Get Enough with a video directed by Suede's own Simon Gilbert. This should get the folks down-under suitably psyched for the band's tour at the start of November.

Suede headline London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 9, 1999 as a part of MTV's "Five Night Stand", a series of concerts which will be broadcast on MTV from May 17 to May 23, 1999. Tickets are 13 pounds. Broadcast on MTV Asia on September. For info click here
