I watch MTV Asia a lot, in fact I need to thank them for my first encounter with Suede. Here are some shows Suede had appeared in:

Recorded in Hong Kong on March 1997, broadcast not long after. They host the Suede special show, introducing their own videos: Trash, The Wild Ones, The Drowners, Beautiful Ones and Saturday Night with a little story for each video.

# mtv's european countdown

Too little to mention, really, but still essential for Suede fans. Brett, Simon, and Neil appeared to present the number one video of that week (Mmmbop by Hanson) with VJ Boris, from a music festival. Neil just stood in the background, while Brett answered some questions about the festival and Simon gave his comments on "Mmmbop".

# mtv europe music awards 1999

Brett made an appearance as an award presenter. With Des'ree, he read the nominees and the winner of "Best Breakthrough". I bet all nominees were eager to win, not for the award but for the chance to meet Brett eye-to-eye!!! The winner was Britney Spears who got to hug and cheek-kiss Brett - forgive her sin for still being busy with that award thingy while she got BRETT by her side! Poor little rich girl.

Simon and Brett sat down to reveal some facts behind every single from Coming Up. Not only that, the sleeves and videos of respective singles are also shown in-between their explanation.

# mtv asia breakout

MTV takes us to the location of Electricity video shoot. Including brief interviews with Brett, Neil and Mike Lipscombe (the director) about the song and the video.

# mtv promotional clips

Suede appeared in 2 versions of MTV Asia's promotional clips. The first one was shot during their visit to Singapore in 1997, where all 5 members sat to say "Hi, we're Suede and you're watching MTV, the music channel." It stopped appearing when MTV changed their motto, but never fear... they shot another one featuring Brett and Simon where Brett says "Only on MTV,...we like!"

#mtv's daria

The Beautiful Ones riff appears briefly as background music in one episode of MTV hit cartoon series Daria.

# mtv brief interviews

First in 1997, when they came to Asia, MTV caught them to do some brief interviews with the crew. They broadcast pieces of those interviews on MTV News; but sessions done in the limo are packed nicely and furnished with Suede music. This results 3 packages of Suede answering some questions about cover versions, live performances, and fanzines. Then MTV played these clips in-between MTV shows aside the promotional clips. What? You weren't in Asia and now you're dying to see them? These interviews can be found in Implement Yeah! Enhanced CD by the Suede Information Service.

In their Asian tour 1999, MTV also got Suede in front of the camera. These interviews are integrated in MTV shows like Bangkok Jam, Hitlist, and stuff; quite lengthy to learn from.

# vh1 uncut

Suede were down at the MTV/VH1 studios in Camden on August 10, 1999, performing 8 live songs for Uncut. This was broadcast on VH1 on Wednesday, September 1st, repeated on Saturday, September 11th.

# nuile part ailleurs

Suede performed She's In Fashion fully live on the Canal+ tv show in Paris on September 6, 1999. The programme began at 6:20 PM and Suede appeared at about 6:50.

# bbc re!covered

Suede performed Blondie's Union City Blues and Beautiful Loser in the tv show, alongside them was The Cure. Shooting was May 25, 2002, where some fans got the chance to watch.

Suede aren't nominated for any category, but in the 'nominee special' show, She's in Fashion appears full-length as the background music for fashion award category nominees.

Surely, although without any promoclip people would still crowd every venue where they play. Supported by Carlsberg (as the tour was), this promo appeared quite a lot just before their Asian tour took place.

# 99 the hits advert

'99 the hits' is a compilation album which features She's In Fashion in it, and on the TV advertisement a piece of She's In Fashion video is displayed briefly.

Lazy appeared.

# brit awards 1997

They didn't get nominated on that particular show but a piece of She was played during someone's entrance to the stage (sorry, I forget who that was!)

Serenada is an Indonesian lifestyle TV show, and its trailer features parts of She's In Fashion video.
